Philbrook Wine Experience

April 25-27, 2024

Named the “best wine festival” in the country by USA Today, our beloved biennial fundraising weekend features more than 50 internationally renowned vintners, regional restaurants, and an awe-inspiring auction to benefit Oklahoma’s cultural crown jewel, Philbrook. In 2022 Philbrook raised just under $4 million, making Wine Experience Weekend one of the largest fundraising events in the state and one of the most lucrative wine events nationwide.

Philbrook Wine Experience - Jermaine Stone Profile

Welcome to Jermaine Stone

Special Guest

From rapping, to packing boxes in the shipping department at Zachy’s, to the first ever black commercial wine auctioneer, right through to being heralded as one of Wine Enthusiast’s 40 under 40, Bronx native Jermaine Stone’s rise in the wine industry has been driven by one key mission; to challenge the narrative about and for black men in America. In founding Cru Luv Selections, an innovative creative agency based in NYC, Stone has found a space that can use marketing, brand partnerships, and content creation to connect wine and hip hop cultures to bring wine to an audience traditionally ignored.

Special Guest

Eric Asimov

“My role, more of a responsibility, is to speak my mind about wines. To offer an honest opinion about wines, the people, the culture, the politics, in an effort to illuminate what's most wonderful and what's interesting about wine.”

Philbrook gladly welcomes Eric Asimov back for Wine Experience 2024. Asimov has held the position of The New York Times' chief wine critic for 20 years. Author of "How to Love Wine" and co-author of “The New York Times Guide to Restaurants 2004,” he is known for his "thoughtful, objective, yet inclusive" commentary on wine.
